Welcome!

Is your dog or puppy making your life miserable by engaging in problem behaviors such as nipping, destructive chewing, constant barking, jumping on you, or relentless leash pulling? Are you having difficulties resolving these behaviors? Could your dog benefit from some training to develop better manners? If your answer to these questions is “yes,” then you have come to the right place.

I am here to help—to help your dog to ■ develop positive behaviors that will make him a better companion and enrich your relationship with him, and to help you to ■ develop the characteristics, knowledge and skills of a good leader, trainer and handler, which are important to your dog’s well-being and development.

I provide in-home comprehensive instruction and modeling to owners on how to train their dogs in basic to advanced obedience skills. This training takes place in the comfort of your home. No need to travel to a pet store or training facility—I come to you and your dog.

During the training process, I will be working with your dog for purposes such as demonstrating proper handling and training techniques. However, the focus needs to be on helping you to learn how to train your dog because it is you who will be sustaining the training and managing of your dog’s behavior for the rest of his life. In addition to obedience work, I will also help you to address any problem behaviors that your dog is displaying and develop effective strategies to resolve them.

Dog owners enjoy spending time with their pets while learning core training skills, knowledge and cues. They also derive a sense of accomplishment when they are better able to understand, direct, and manage their dog’s behavior. Likewise, dogs enjoy the training process because they like to learn and are happier when they can please their owners through good behavior.

Please do not hesitate to contact me about your training needs.
